What three words would I use to describe my Project Pinstripe partners?

Viktoria- tenacious, sympathetic, leader

Lesly-devoted, compassionate, strong willed

What does a Project Pinstripe planning meeting look like?

We have a lot of fun when getting together to discuss Project Pinstripe. Vik, Lesly, and I have been long time friends and share a lot of fun and memories! Lesly and I have known each other since we were 12 and we have known Vik since we started working in the industry 20 years ago! We also share a sisterhood where we feel we can say whatever is on our minds to help make Project Pinstripe as awesome as possible! We are open, honest, and silly sometimes. Check out pictures from our kickoff FaceTime call this year!

If your family had a slogan, what would it be?

“What’s for dinner?” We are foodies in this house. My husband Jeff is an awesome cook and I love to help him. Around midday each day, even our 2-year-old son wants to know what’s for dinner!

If you could start any business, what would it be?

I would start an ice cream shop! I love ice cream. I could eat it all day every day if it was acceptable to do so. I think it’s a smart business for a family who still wants some time to themselves. If done the right way, it can be simple and fun at the same time. Also, in the Northeast, where we live, it can be seasonal which gives you the winter off to do other things and plan for the next year!

Do you feel like you have made an impact as a professional stylist?

Some of my clients have told me that I have successfully helped them to feel much better about themselves when they put on a new suit that is fit just for them, but at the end of the day, I never recognized that as making a true impact until I helped develop Project Pinstripe and started working with young adults whom otherwise would not have the chance or knowledge to be able to present themselves in the best light when entering the professional workplace. Some of the outcomes and impact that we have made on these young men have now been carried on through them helping others and that to me is the ultimate true impact.

If you could invent a holiday, what would it be?

Day of Giving where everyone gets the day off from their paying job and they give their time to a charity or do something to help other people.
