Precisely Wearing Your Professional Clothing

1. Suit:
  • Suit sleeves should end at the end of the wrist and not go past the beginning of your palm.
  • Pants should be no longer than the end of your heel. A good way to check is that if you are barefoot, the pants should only skim the floor.
2. Ties:
  • When tied the tie should cover the gap between your collar.
  • The tie should be long enough to touch the top of your belt.
  • If you are over 6 feet then you should wear an extra long tie because a regular length tie may be too short.
3. Shirts:
  • Shirts should be clean and pressed per each wearing.
  • There should be no more than 1 inch between the collar and your neck.
  • There should be no more than 1 inch between your cuff and your wrist.
4. Shoes:
  • Shoes must be polished.
5. Belt:
  • Belt should rest comfortably on the waist but also keep your pants securely on the waist and hips. If you can fit more than 3 fingers between your belt and your waist then your belt is too loose.
